Traffic and Infrastructure Advisories
The Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) have announced several active roadway and bridge projects that will impact travel throughout the city this week:
- John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge: Repair work continues on the historic bridge. Pedestrians should expect intermittent partial closures. While the north sidewalk remains open, cyclists are officially required to dismount and walk through the construction zones.
- Gragg Road Closure: A temporary closure of Gragg Road begins today, March 3. Motorists are advised to utilize alternate routes while crews perform essential maintenance.
- Nolensville Pike (SR 11): The continuous closure of Bradford Hills Drive remains in effect. This closure is necessary for ongoing widening, utility relocation, and bridge construction, with a scheduled reopening in April 2026.
- Woodland Street Bridge: Phase 2 of the bridge repair project is currently active. Traffic shifts and lane closures may occur during peak hours.
- I-65 and Briley Parkway: Travelers should watch for bridge inspection operations that may prompt ramp and lane closures in this major interchange area today.
