Metro Nashville Police were investigating a burglary early Tuesday after a vehicle struck the front of a gun store in the Belle Meade area, damaging the brick façade and a window and triggering a large police response in the pre-dawn hours.

Officers were dispatched to The Outpost Armory on Old Harding Pike shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday when an alarm was activated.
