Nashville City Notices: Winter Storm Recovery and Official Meeting Schedule for February 2

Emergency State and Weather Advisories
Nashville remains under a State of Emergency following the impacts of Winter Storm Fern. Pursuant to Executive Order 56, issued by Mayor Freddie O’Connell, all residents are encouraged to prioritize safety as the city continues recovery efforts. The National Weather Service has issued a Minor Cold Weather Advisory for the region, effective until 12:00 p.m. today, Monday, February 2. Wind chill values are expected to drop as low as 11°F. Public health officials advise residents to limit outdoor exposure to prevent hypothermia and remind citizens to never use fuel-powered generators inside homes or garages due to the extreme risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
